Heyy guys, recently didnt post anything, sry fr th dead blog.
Just was a little busy..
Nothing much to update. Today was as usual. 3 free periods. 2 periods - No PE ,1 Period -No maths. It was super fun and cool having free periods, actually. Chatted , talked, laughed, had fun, played agmes. It was like a dream come true, Yeah(:

Then, recess, ate with my friends, enjoyed th coll breeze, th slacking, and th fun time, we had..Then had literature, we did grp work, was quite boring, ut not too bad, coz grp work, so we talked much-too much..(=

Then, Science, Th last two periods. Time flew super fast here. I got bac my Science common test ppr, it was like omg! Though i sorta improved alot fm my previous test, im still notb happ, as i feel i cn always do better. I guess its time to pull up my socks, to do great in th exams.(:

Lastly, had cca then. Slack-ed like wad-so-ever during CCA. Chatted fr nearly an hour in th library w my frens.. <3

Then, 4pm, met my frens, slcked little while, bus-ed home, ad now resting awhile before starting homework..So tired these days. Im desperately waiting fr th weekends, nowadays..

Dreams

Dreams. Even if you ask a kid, barely five years old, “What is Your Dream?” He or she would immediately fall back into the dream world of their own and would respond enthusiastically, that “I want to be a doctor, a sportsmen, and teacher!” and so on. Dreams and desires have played such a part in everyone’s life. However, I have always believed that dreams are just a key to motivation, but it is the determination and commitment that helps to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal.

I had always wanted to be part of a national level badminton competition. Waving all my humiliation, I tell frankly that at first I did not even knew how to surf properly. However, my interest was aroused when my best friend, Yvonne liked badminton.

After few weeks, Yvonne and I came across this announcement in the notice board about a national badminton competition. We were absolutely happy. Without any hesitation, both of us signed up for the competition. We practiced very hard every day so that we would play well. Both Yvonne and I just wanted an experience through this.

However after two weeks, we learnt that our final year examinations were just the next day after the competition. This made us to be in a dilemma as our examinations were as important as the competition. But, could we lose a golden opportunity? That day, I was going home myself as Yvonne was going to her aunt’s place, taking another route.

When I was going home, my mind was blurred, loomed with thoughts, “exams or competition?” a dozen of times till I was going mad. I just crossed the road without realizing that a car was coming very close to me in full speed. Before I could sprint into action, I was flung a meter away and what I heard last before I was splat in a pool of blood was my agonizing scream, “arggh!”

A feeling of frustration and desolation swept through me. The next thing I knew was that I was in the hospital... The first person I saw after I regained consciousness was Yvonne. She was whimpering at the first sight. She said, managing to elucidate in between her tears, “In this situation, I do not think I is advisable for us to take part in the competition”.

She also said that it was better for me to rest and prepare for the examinations. She even said that she was willing to take care of me till I recovered. I was so touched by this. The next two people whom I saw were my parents. They told me the same as to not go to the competition. Tears coursed from my eyes as I told them that I would think about it.

However, would I listen? I was still determined to play in the competition as it was my dream. If I did not go for the competition, Yvonne could not and I knew
She would not take part either too because the competition was against two. At that moment, I was dumbfounded. The only thing that I knew was tears of longevity to be part of the competition. In the end, I came up with the decision to take part in the competition.
Suddenly, I felt the willpower to take part in this competition, to reach the skies, the miles ahead. Without any hesitation, I informed Yvonne about this. She was elated with my decision as she felt that I had good sportsmanship. At the same time, she felt appalled as I was already badly injured and still wanted to take part in the competition.

The competition was in a weeks’ time. During that week, instead of practicing for the competition, I revised for my examinations. At that time, Yvonne really helped me to cope with my studies. Our turn came and during the first half of the competition, Yvonne was winning but I never ever felt discouraged.

However, in the second half, I kept winning! My dream was coming true. It was true at last! “Congratulations!” was the wishes I was greeted with after I won the competition. I thanked Yvonne profusely as she was definitely behind my success. Till today, Yvonne and I are best of friends although we are in different universities today.

Moreover, this competition, has been till today and would be forever etched in my mind, no matter what as this was the first ever competition I took part and achieved success. I always think that “everything is possible with hard work!” and thus hope that everyone strives hard to fulfill and realize their long time dreams. Even if you experience failure, be confident and reach forward to win. Always remember that “failure is the first step to success”.

Pissing Incident

Tdy was an irritating day, i tell. I'm nt happy at th starting of th post. Bt, i hope tht i gt cheered aft pouring my feelings to th blog .(: This is gonna be a long post.

First,
I thought tht thr was CCA tdy. Then, i was having at th drink at th canteen, to go CCA. Thn, out of th sudden, one member of th CCA, sms-ed me telling tht th place th CCA is held was closed, so no CCA. So, i went hm .Sadly, no1 at th bustop by then. All my frenx who went hm, had taken th bus. Bus-ed hm myself, my lonely self! :(

Second, b4 going hm, i passed a form to th general office staff. Thn, nw, she called me and said tht i had to gif th form personally to another staff. I was like WTH?

izzit a passing round game? In primary sch, i juz pass it to a staff and all is sorted out ready, mazxc! (:

Thirdly, Fell bad tht thr's no CCA tdy, coz i had to plan and confirm abt th camp organisations during th hols. Its like last minute ordy. My frwn and i had to prepare th events. Tot of consulting every1 thn, print th event..bt nw... ________?

Next. I tot tht i will gt my report bk tdy, thn wth? gtn only tmr. I need th results for smth urgently ordy lehh...

Then, tdy at cls, th vice chairman stopped me frm going to th washrm, during th free period, no teacher. No PE, so i tot of changing bacinto th uni. Bt, anw, i didnt care abt him, went abt, changed...(: lol

Then , in cls, tdy, played black jets cards with Yamin, Jannah, crystal, fathima..etc. Then, th vice chairman agn caught us and said no cards to be played at cls. Second time, for me to be pissed off with him..

Then, no choice , so played with ppr.. Sought of a bet, with 5 cents and 10 cents ya! dun wana waste money, kays! (:

Then, nw, im bored to th core, so im blogging, face ooking, chatting in MSN..etc..Twiting, all sorta stuff. Too bored..THts why ..(:

For this days...:

Today, had fun for th whole day at school. Played Truth or Dare, hangman, hugging game with Crysal, Yamin, Fathima,Melor,Jannah, Nicole, Xuan Ying..etc. It was damn fun, i say <3

Th hugging game is like smth like trith or dare. Two ppl will hv to hug each othr if their name came by ( p.s. we played an all gals game, no boys, so no._____.)

Then, tdy in th mrn, my hair was down, didnt clip up..My form teacher cam to her and asked me to clip up, she is friendly, bt clipping up my hair meeks me damn nerd looking(:.

Our grp wrote about a man in a rehabiltation centre, wanting to return to his old self..focusing on emotions..i gave the idea to my grp..i juz poured out so much of emotive words...Btw, nw duno wad to do..surfing th net to find the methods to do A DNA Structure..found 6 methods..but all nd so much materials..tis is a grp assignment..so nd to mit durn the june hols....I'm damn bored as i nearly finished all my homewrk..oni left science grp wk, poster, brochure and the drama preparation..lols! For maths, I GT 87, TaTs a A1 ..My science, 76, a A1, My ih, 61(gd enuf, mst of them incls fail), Litreture..78, a A1, and the highest in whole sec 1, only A1 scorer..., Dnt,,73..An A2, Mt, 74, an A2.. and i met all my targets 4 my teachers, xcept 4 IH AND ENGLISH.. My el teacher gave me low, saying too bombastic 4 Sec 1.. i wana ask her if i do well in Lit, y nt english as lit is related to english!

Age spots, also known as browns spots are caused from excessive exposure to the sun. These dark spots are usually found on the face, neck, and hands as these are the areas that receive the most sun exposure. Although brown spots are not necessarily caused from ageing, they are caused by overexposure to the sun and as we age our skin's ability to fight back is lessened thus producing age spots on the face, neck and hands.

The skin produces melanin to absorb the UV rays from the sun and protect the underlying skin cells, thus this is how we get a suntan. However, melanin will not always be distributed evenly throughout the skin thus leaving darker areas or brown spots.

Preventing age spots is easy just by following these simple tips:

Actinic keratosis also known as a solar keratosis, is a small, rough spot occurring on the skin that has been chronically exposed to the sun. They measure anywhere from one-quarter to one-inch in diameter and are usually considered precancerous spots. These legions can appear years after sun damage so regular applications of sunscreen are important at all ages.

It is also important to note that overexposure to the sun while wearing sun-sensitive chemicals in cosmetics or perfume will produce poikiloderma which usually appears on the neck and checks. Poikiloderma: extra pigmentation of the skin demonstrating a variety of shades and associated with widened capillaries (telangiectasia) in the affected area.

Skin Care Remedies to reduce the appearance of age spots:

Diet - research studies have shown that a diet that includes flavanoids and antioxidants found in most vegetables, fruits, and grain has shown to reduce the appearance of age spots. Furthermore in animal laboratory testing flavanoids has prevented cancer formation

Kitchen recipes - Lemon juice has a bleaching agent that will lighten sunspots. Dab a cotton ball of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the brown spots in the morning and evening. Note - lemon juice is photo-sensitive so protect your skin with sunscreen.

Apply the fleshy side of a green papaya, right out of the fridge to reduce age spots. Just apply the papaya to the spots for 15-20 minutes daily and repeat until you attain the desire lightness.

Home remedies are inexpensive and offer a natural solution to reduce the appearance of age spots. Additionally, home skin care recipes are eco-friendly and there are no chemicals involved. However, for a natural skin lightening treatment a home remedy may require 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

It has been a long time since i posted last.. juz was busy revising 4 Mid Yr Xams...!
Coz i wana gt All A1... its hard but wif hard work, i guess its possible... My Eng and mt paper were in 28 AND 29 OF April Respectively.. both of the papers were fine... Next i had litreture paper.. i wrote damn long and my hands were aching.. then was Maths papers.. me..Found the paper 1 difficult while paper 2 was easy.. gt my marks back, gt 87, wished 4 higher...! Then had Integrated Humanities. that was the most difficult paper.. hope i dun fail.. vry scared... Then was science.. sciencewas 1 of the bst.. i hp i hv done well. nw since MYE are over, i m so bored... Dunno wad to do!
